Indonesia has issued more than 1,270 Golden Visas drawing close to US$3 billion, overwhelmingly from corporate investors.

Indonesia's immigration directorate reported that by mid-May 2026 its Golden Visa had attracted roughly Rp 52 trillion — about US$2.95 billion — through 1,274 long-stay residency permits granted to investors from 61 countries. Companies account for nearly all of that capital, confirming the program is primarily a corporate market-access route rather than a retail investor play. The five- and ten-year visas waive annual renewals and impose no minimum-stay requirement.
