Since 14 February 2024 all foreign visitors to Bali must pay a tourism levy of IDR 150,000 (around US$10) per person, on top of any visa cost. It can be paid in advance through the official Love Bali portal or on arrival, and the receipt may be checked at the airport or at accommodation. The funds are earmarked for protecting Bali's culture and environment.
