Passport & photo
Required documents: Valid passport (6+ months, 1 blank page); Online eTA application at etakenya.go.ke; Recent color photo (white/light background); Return/onward ticket; Hotel booking OR host address and phone number; Financial evidence. Yellow Fever vaccination required ONLY if arriving from/transiting a yellow-fever-endemic country (mostly parts of Africa/South America) — NOT required for direct travel from Bangladesh, which is not a WHO-designated endemic country. For East Africa Tourist Visa: itinerary covering Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda; for Business: invitation from Kenyan company.

Kenya eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) for Business — Kenya replaced eVisa with eTA system in January 2024. Now applies to ALL visitors including BD nationals. Tourism, conferences, regional commercial hub for East Africa.
Common rejection reasons
Common BD rejections at eTA: (1) applying with less than 3 days before travel; (2) incomplete hotel/accommodation proof; (3) mistakenly attaching Yellow Fever certificate documentation/questions when not applicable to direct BD travel, causing confusion; (4) inconsistent itinerary details. NOTE: the previous record's claim that Bangladesh is a Yellow-Fever-endemic country is incorrect and has been removed.
